BEYONCE’S AID TO NIGERIANS INFURIATES SOME ON TWITTER
Many online users are angered by a tweet posted by American singer Beyonce’s charity in solidarity with anti-police protestors in Nigeria. In the tweet she stated she was working with organizations to support those protesting. She said they were aiming to “provide emergency healthcare, food and shelter.” Some Nigerians said they weren’t hungry and instead desire and are demanding change.
“We starved of justice, human rights and other social amenities not food!” Chimmy tweeted.
“Keep your help and aid to yourself, I don’t need it and the dead definitely don’t. All we needed was your platform to create awareness for the whole issue but you prefer to send us aid like the “poor” set of people we are. Never again. Keep your aid to yourself. We’ll remember,” Tomiwa tweeted.
“Who told Beyonce that we are hungry? Sis just lend your voice like Riri and co.,” Papi Jay tweeted.
Yet others defended Beyonce saying she was offering support.
“That’s stupid, and after what? She gon talk without doing anything? She’s offering her money and health support and you ask for a voice?? I don’t understand people!” Queen Domi tweeted.
Here is Beyonce’s statement posted on her BeyGood platform:
Shalom everyone. God bless you all and I trust that all is well with you. I believe that a lot of you are becoming more and more aware of the major civil unrests that are happening all around the world, yet for this week we are honing in on what is happening in Nigeria. I’m sure you have seen the famous #endsars hashtag that is dominating social media as of now, and this hashtag relates to very serious police brutality cases that are happening throughout the nation.
Let me make myself clear on this one fact, child of God. It does not matter who you are, or where you live in this world. God has called you to be a trail-blazer for implementing his kingdom reign on earth, and no matter what, we stand for what is right. You do not have to be a politician or a celebrity to spark change for something seriously wrong that you see happening within or outside your country. The Bible reads that “ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill that cannot be hid…. [so] let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” (Matt 5: 14,16 KJV).
Many people also think that if something is not happening to them, then it’s not their problem. However, this mentality is completely incorrect and couldn’t be further from the truth. As Christians, we are to use whatever God has given us to ultimately carry forth the Great Commission and preach the gospel. This could look like anything from representing Christ in your international school clubs to speaking out the truth on platforms such as Instagram and Facebook live. Indeed, we are living in the end-times… the “eschatos” as the New Testament describes… meaning the end of the end. Jesus Christ could come anytime now and the rapture can happen at any moment, and until then, we must faithfully and zealously carry forth all that he has commissioned us to do.
So, my brother, my sister, my question for you is this: Are you going to keep waiting for the “people at the top” to implement the change that you want to see in this world, or are you going to “rise up, pick up your mat and walk” (John 5:8) and begin yourself? There are innumerable and countless things that you can do for the great cause of Jesus Christ, and it’s time to get moving, starting now! No matter what, Covid or no Covid, the Kingdom of God will continue to advance! Remember that our weapons are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds” (2 Cor 10:4 KJV), “and from the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force!” (Matt 11:12 KJV). As Children of God, we do not mourn and crumble in weakness and oppression. We know what we want, and through the power of Jesus Christ who lives on the inside of us, we make it happen!

ATHLETICS CANADA WITHDRAWS COMPETITORS FROM HALF MARATHON CHAMPIONSHIPS IN POLAND
At the 2020 World Athletics Half Marathon Championships in Gdynia, Poland, Athletics Canada has withdrawn five athletes who planned to represent the country this weekend.
In a media release Tuesday, the sports organization said that it came to the decision following an internal discussion with the “health and safety of [its] athletes, coaches, staff and volunteers in mind.” “We simply cannot justify putting our athletes, coaches and staff in harm’s way,” Athletics Canada said. The sharp increase of Covid-19 cases in Poland drove the organization to the decision of withdrawal.
The athletes to represent Canada were Rachel Cliff, Justin Kent, Ben Preisner, Philippe Parrot-Migas and Thomas Toth. The championships were originally scheduled to be on March 29, but was rescheduled to Oct. 17 in result of the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to Dr. Paddy McCluskey, Athletics Canada’s chief medical officer, the various risks included flying and transfers within airports; whether individuals would comply to the safety protocols; and having the athletes be in publicly-accessed common areas like hotel lobbies and common dining areas.
Brothers and sisters, we are continuing to notice an increase in the instances of national governments around the world making major decisions in response to the pandemic. Many events have been cancelled already on a grand scale, within areas such as politics, religion, and sports. Yet as we see more major events like these getting postponed, it is of utmost importance to never be worried due to the climate of events that surround us.
The Bible tells us in Phil. 4:6-7 (NKJV) to “be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Due to the message conveyed by this scripture, does it mean that Christians are exempt from experiencing troublesome situations? Absolutely not! In fact, that would be quite far from the truth. This scripture explains that in the midst of troubles within our families, work places, and even countries under the directives of their governments, we are to be at peace, constantly communicating with and praising our Maker. We do not worry as the world worries. We put our trust in God, and carry his perfect peace and all other fruits of the spirit within our hearts at all times.
Yet I must close with asking you… how are you all faring during this Pandemic as of now? Even though the world around us seems to be in confusion and grappling for answers in the midst of it, I pray that each and every one of us are being built in the spirit more and more with each passing day. By God’s grace, once all of this has passed, we shall be stronger and better than ever before. To the world, this is the year of Covid. Yet from the perspective of the Body of Christ, we are being prepared to be ushered into a unique and powerful move of the Spirit that has never been seen before!
Study this scripture: Acts 2:17. Meditate on it and pray, asking God what assignment he has for you in this exciting end-time dispensation of the Holy Spirit.
Comment below: Tell me your views on how the government of the nation that you reside in is currently taking action against the pandemic. I want to know. Let’s interact!

“ANTI-NIGERIAN HASHTAG TRENDS IN SOUTH AFRICA “
In South Africa, #NigeriansMustGo has been the top trending hashtag on Twitter, lately signaling growing xenophobia against foreigners within the country.
This comes only days following a small protest held outside the Nigerian High Commission in Pretoria, the capital, under the hashtag #PutSouthAfricansFirst.
Partially being fueled by a local media report, this hashtag increased in its popularity and use. The report explained how a police raid led to five Nigerians being charged and arrested with human trafficking after 11 women were discovered to be working as sex workers at brothels disguised as a bed-and-breakfast.
Two weeks prior, Digital Forensic Research Lab – which is made up of forensic researchers who track conflicts – said it had identified a dismissed lance corporal in the South African National Defense Force (SANDF) fueling xenophobia in the methods of running a fake Twitter account. The former soldier has not commented.
Some South Africans accuse immigrants of being involved in crime and taking the jobs of locals. Others claim and believe that most immigrants are law-abiding, and should not be blamed for the social and economic issues of South Africa.
During a protest two weeks ago, Nigeria’s High Commissioner Bala Kabiru said: “We don’t accept the profiling of Nigerians in South Africa.”
My dear siblings of the faith, we are clearly witnessing and observing countless major instances of civil unrest before our very eyes that are not just happening in America or the Western World, but in many countries across the globe. In America, xenophobic attitudes are evident in the hearts of many who believe for example that immigrants such as Hispanics are taking jobs and should be deported back to their country. The same can be seen in the nation of South Africa, where in multiple instances, Nigerians are claimed to be causing crime and likewise, taking jobs.
America and South Africa are by far not the only countries where xenophobia is majorly occurring right now. This is a clear indication that such hatred between people groups is deeper than skin… it is fueled by the Devil.
So the question remains… How can we overcome racial divides and tensions that are blazing through the world in which we live in today? The Bible makes it very clear. Zech 4:6 (KJV) reads, “Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.” Obviously, it cannot be by physical power or even political power that these issues get ultimately resolved, but only by the power of the Holy Spirit. Man may be able to change the actions of another, but it is only God who can change the heart.
The Bible says to “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life” (Prov. 4:23 KJV). Every single issue of humanity, even the social ones on grand national and international scales, stem from issues of the heart. It is only through God that we will find the solution, for the Word also says, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chr 7:14 KJV).
Brothers and sisters, all we need to do is ultimately turn not to each other or even to the government for a solution, but to God! It’s time to delve back into and constantly dwell in the Word, pray without ceasing and live life not as a simple unbeliever, but life in the Spirit! Then, and only then will we see our societies, nations and world progress, heal and advance into greater glories. There is no other ultimate solution!

“LADIES AND GENTLEMAN” GREETING DROPPED BY JAPAN AIRLINES FOR GENDER NEUTRALS
In favor of gender neutral phrases and an effort to be more inclusive, Japan Airlines will stop addressing passengers as “ladies and gentlemen.” Beginning Thursday, Japan Airlines will use new forms of address, such as “Good morning, everyone” and “Attention all passengers.”
Other airlines have altered their announcements to recognize nonbinary and gender-nonconforming travelers, including Air Canada and the low-cost European carrier EasyJet.
Support for LGBTQ rights in Japan is steadily increasing. According to the Pew Research Center, just over half of Japanese people said they accepted homosexuality in 2002. Today it’s nearer to 70 percent. And among those 18 to 29, the figure is 92 percent.
Brothers and sisters, as time progresses, we are continuing to witness a dramatic increase in widely-accepted tolerance in many areas, especially within the area of gender inclusion. The world is becoming more and more inclined to permitting the notions that every person has the right to live exactly the way that they desire, and that nothing is openly deemed as being morally wrong, except in instances that trouble the laws of the land.
Arguably, this ideology seems like absolute truth, yet it is only the partial truth. The Bible describes that “in the last days, perilous times shall come, for men shall be lovers of their own selves…”(2 Tim. 3:2). As we have already discussed, we are most definitely living in the last days/end-times. To be a lover of yourself, you exalt your own beliefs above the truth of God’s Word, and this occurrence can be observed all throughout the world in which we live in today.
Indeed, it is true that humans have free will… God even intended for his creation to. However, when we as His creation decide to live by ideologies such as sexual fluidity that are in opposition against his will and what is written in his Word, we bring issues not just to ourselves but the communities that surround us and the world at large.
2 Chron. 7:14 (KJV) reads, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” Did you hear, people of God? In order to experience healing both in ourselves and the nations that we dwell in, all we have to do is turn to God and seek his face.
From today, let us make the decision in our hearts to lean not on our own understanding (Prov. 3:5) and instead trust in the wisdom of Jesus Christ, the one who intricately knitted and designed us in love. He knows all things, and there is a definite reason for everything that he says and commands. It is our duty to simply follow him and enjoy the insurmountable blessings of obedience that follow.
Wherever you go this week, observe what changes are happening in main buildings that you happen to spend time in, whether it be the supermarket, bank, or even airport. Reflect on how these changes align with what is written in the Bible.

JUSTICE RUTH BADER GINSBURG’S DEATH AND SPARKING POLITICAL TUMULT
Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the demure firebrand who in her 80s became a legal, cultural and feminist icon, died at 87 from Pancreatic cancer last Friday, in her home and surrounded by family. Her death has initiated a fierce partisan battle over whether President Donald Trump should be permitted to replace her with his own pick, with just five weeks remaining until the general election, or if whoever is elected on Nov. 3 should be able to appoint a new justice.
“Our nation has lost a justice of historic stature,” Chief Justice John Roberts said. “We at the Supreme Court have lost a cherished colleague. Today we mourn but with confidence that future generations will remember Ruth Bader Ginsburg as we knew her, a tireless and resolute champion of justice.”
She was a primary architect of the legal fight for women’s rights in the 1970’s. Ginsburg was also the first female Jewish Supreme Court justice, the second woman to serve on the Supreme Court, and the first justice to officiate a same-sex marriage. Additionally, she was a liberal and a democrat.
Ginsburg’s death will inevitably set in motion what promises to be a nasty and tumultuous political battle over who will succeed her, and it thrusts the Supreme Court vacancy into the spotlight of the presidential campaign. President Trump desires to appoint a replacement before the election, whereas many other Americans, particularly democrats, desire to wait until after the general election for the decision to be made.
My Message for You:
Beloved, perhaps you may be deeply affected by the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, as she was a prime example of women empowerment. However, never allow yourself to become and remain discouraged, for the Bible does say that “the glory of [the] latter house shall be greater than of the former” (Hag. 2:9). Child of God, do you know what this means? Through his own oracle, Jesus Christ is speaking in the book of Haggai that what is to come is greater than what has already passed.
Therefore, I must encourage you dear one that it does not matter what has already happened in your nation or the world at large, our God is known and famous for doing a new thing. Have faith, remain encouraged at all times, and never settle. Always move forward and keep your eyes ahead, never being dismayed by what goes on around you. Ps. 18:29 reads “for by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.” Since Christ lives in us, we can do all things through his might and power, and that most definitely includes success in our own households, even in the midst of difficult political times!
Comment below on your thoughts of the American political climate right now. How are you doing in the midst of all that is happening? (Communal discussions are highly encouraged! Let’s interact with each other in the midst of this social distancing era.)

PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST? HISTORIC MIDEAST DEAL
On Tuesday, Trump presided over the signing of two historic deals that formalized the normalization of Israel’s already thawing relations with the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain in line with their common opposition to Iran. This ceremony displayed the burnishing of Trump’s foreign policy credentials as he seeks reelection. At the ceremony held at the White House, President Donald Trump declared that the historic signing will mark the “dawn of a new Middle East,” casting himself as an international peacemaker at the height of his reelection campaign.
But the agreements do not address the decades-long conflict between Israel and the Palestinians, who view the pacts as a stab in the back from their fellow Arabs and a betrayal of their cause for a Palestinian state. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the day “is a pivot of history. It heralds a new dawn of peace.” Yet in their remarks, neither Netanyahu nor Trump mentioned the Palestinians, but both Bahraini foreign ministers and the UAE spoke of the importance of creating a Palestinian state.
Bahrani Foreign Minister Abdullatif al-Zayani said Bahrain would stand with the Palestinians. “Today is a truly historic occasion,” he said. “A moment for hope and opportunity.” But in the Gaza Strip, Palestinian militants fired two rockets into Israel, apparently intended to coincide with the ceremony.
Israel and the U.S. hope the agreements can usher in a major shift in the region should other Arab nations, particularly Saudi Arabia, follow suit. That could have implications for Syria, Iran and Lebanon. Until now, Israel has had peace deals only with Jordan and Egypt. The deals see normalization of relations on everything from air travel to the establishment of embassies and security, and it’s hoped that it will usher in further such deals – possibly with Morocco, Oman and Sudan and others. In addition to the bilateral agreements signed by Israel, the UAE and Bahrain, all three signed a document dubbed the “Abraham Accords” after the patriarch of the world’s three major monotheistic religions.
In a call with reporters on Friday, White House adviser Jared Kushner said that it took Israel 72 years to form its first two peace agreements, and there have been two more in the last 29 days – describing it as a sign that the region is changing. Iran, meanwhile, has fumed at both deals, calling them “shameful” and “dangerous.”
My Message for You
This is wonderful progress in regards to peace in Israel. The Bible even tells us to pray for Israel. Ps. 122:6-8 reads, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces. For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, peace be within thee.” As Christians, now is not the time to be hiding under rocks, begging for the rapture as a means of escaping the realities of this world, but we must continue to have faith, and of course, faith without works is dead (Jas. 2:20). Likewise, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Rom. 10:17), therefore we must continuously dwell in the Holy scriptures and have his Word living on the inside of us. After all, men do not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God (Matt. 4:4).
Please, my brothers and sisters in Christ, do not use quarantine as a means for doing nothing, because no matter how stagnant you perceive society to currently be, the Devil is always at work and the realm of the spirit is very busy at all times. But fear not and be of good cheer, for we know that Christ, the hope of glory, has already overcome the world (John 16:33). Therefore, let us continue to be his hands and feet and shine our lights bright in this world, activating the mighty power of the Holy Spirit in every area of life: politically, financially, maritally, educationally, vocationally, etc.
Shalom, my dear and beloved siblings of the faith. Remain blessed, and remember to keep the fire burning!
Pray for Israel, not just your own country!
Remain in the Word, day and night, meditating on His precepts
Continue to remain up to date with current events
Clean your room, house and car! A clean space attracts the presence of God, energizing the environment for meditation, prayer, bible studies, and even normal life activities

THE IMPORTANCE OF ORGANIZATION AND PHYSICAL BEAUTY
LESSON 4, UNIT 1
Good evening, class. God bless you all. How is everybody doing today? I hope everyone is still keeping the faith, living life in the Spirit and is full of the joy of the Lord! After all, our God is a mighty God, and He is worthy of all the glory, honor and praise, today and forevermore. Now, today we will be discussing a very very important topic: the importance of organization and physical beauty.
When it comes to organization, some are for the notion of creating a daily itinerary, and others prefer to live life carefree and simply “go with the flow.” If you have been keeping up with my posts, you should know that I am a complete advocate for generating an itinerary. Creating one was even a part of one of your homework assignments weeks back. It is important to understand that our God is a God of order. The devil was and is very disorganized, which is one of the reasons why he was kicked out of Heaven in the first place. 1 Cor. 14:40 (KJV) that “all things [in the Body of Christ] must be done decently and in order.” This very much applies to and includes not just the way ministry is run, but the most important ministry of all… how we run our personal everyday lives.
Furthermore, here is a screenshot of the extremely general itinerary that I carry out on a daily basis, from Monday to Saturday. (On Sundays, my day looks a bit different as I have to go to church, wash and deep treat my hair, clean and take my weekly detox bath.)
Daily Itinerary Template
7:00 AM- Wake up, check phone
7:30 AM- Write poetry/draw
8:30 AM- Bathroom
10:00 AM- Bring cups/bowls downstairs, take vitamins, fill up fluids, plan dinner
10:30 AM- Foreign language lesson
11:15 AM- Check business/Check mail/Errands
12:00 PM- Check news apps/Research
1:30 PM- Build blog
2:30 PM- Gym
5:00 PM- Prepare dinner
5:30 PM- Eat dinner while doing theology course
6:30-7:30 PM- Watch news while researching
7:30 PM- Errands
10:00 PM- Shut down tech, shower/bathe, diary, reading
Now when it comes to physical beauty, ultimate physical beauty at maximum potential can be achieved through carrying the radiance of the Holy Spirit that glares from the inside of you outwards. The Bible describes the body as being a living temple of the Holy Spirit, and that you are not your own (1 Cor. 6:19). The Psalms also say that we are fearfully and wonderfully made (Ps. 139:14), and the book of Genesis says that we are literally made in the image of God (Gen. 1:27). (For those of you that may not understand what this means, it literally means that you look like God! How amazing.) Therefore, it is of utmost importance to care for and nourish the very body that God has given you, and be completely comfortable in your own skin. Your body is a blessing, not a curse. Everything that is not in alignment concerning your physical body must come into spiritual and physical alignment in Jesus name. Sometimes, in certain situations, my brothers and sisters, you don’t need prayer. You simply need a few easy DIY beauty/personal hygiene hacks. These hacks are mostly catered towards females, but some will definitely be beneficial for males as well. Therefore, for all the gentlemen reading this, please do not just skim this part! Please be sure to apply some of these hacks to your own self or share them with the people around you. You’ll thank me later!
List of Beauty Hacks:
Aloe Vera Gel– used as a face, body and natural hair moisturizer. Can also be added to your hair after applying your pre-poo and deep conditioner
Aloe Vera Oil– used as a face, body and natural hair moisturizing and shining oil. Can be added to any hair/body products of your choice to boost desired performance
Prophetic Detox Bath– calming, relaxing and extremely de-stressing. To take one of these baths, simply add in a small handful of course-grained salt (biblically speaking, salt is used for preservation… to be discussed in later posts). After adding this salt, pray Psalms 29 over the salt water while stirring it around with your index finger (this is prophetic… prophetic directions will be discussed in future posts. Just believe what I am saying, people of God.) Once you are in the bath, simply pray the prayer “I dispel all negative energy from me in Jesus name” and stay in as long as you want to, relaxing and praying whatever else you desire to ask God for.
Buttermilk Bath Pre-Soak– this is simply a soak to soften your legs before shaving, to decrease strawberry legs. Personally, I must say that it truly does soften my skin.
Cocoa Butter– use to moisturize hair, face and body; reduce scars on face/body; reduce stretch marks
Black Soap– used to wash face and body. Gentle, moisturizing cleanser that helps to reduce acne. I absolutely love this soap. This is my ultimate favorite soap so far.
Weekly Assignment: If you have not already made an itinerary yet, please do. It is of utmost importance. After all, success doesn’t just fall from trees. You have to use the brain, arms and legs that Jesus Christ gave you! Therefore, I believe itineraries are mandatory for each and every one of my students, and I expect each and every one of you to create one. Please do keep in mind that itineraries can be altered as much as possible at anytime, yet it is imperative to still stick to structure and format. As soldiers for Christ, we must always be adaptable. In regards to the beauty hacks, please feel free to use as many of them as you desire, and even create your own list of hacks to incorporate into your routine. Remember, even during Covid-19/Quarantine, it is very very important to stay clean, organized and beautiful at all times, for this attracts the presence of God and of his mighty angels. Shalom, and stay blessed, my brothers and sisters. Continue to stay safe, connected, and keep the fire burning!

BASIC MILITARY TACTICS
LESSON 1, UNIT 1
Here is what you need to know for now. Please be sure to take notes as necessary, as you will be tested cumulatively on your acquired knowledge at random points throughout this blog, in various ways. As a soldier for Christ, you must be prepared at all times! (Reference: 1 Pet. 3:15 (KJV) –> “…and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.”)
“Kill the Strange Fire”
In regards to this military tactic, there is a recorded incident in the Bible that caused enduring perturbation for many of God’s people. It is the story of how two of the sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, were suddenly slain by God.
According to Lev. 10: 1-3 (KJV), “And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange firebefore the Lord, which he commanded them not. And there went out fire from the Lord, and devoured them, and they died before the Lord. Then Moses said unto Aaron, ‘This is it that the Lord spake, saying, “I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified.”‘ And Aaron held his peace.”
What is “unauthorized fire,” or, as it is rendered in other translations, “profane fire” or “strange fire”? We use the word profane to refer to that which is less than holy, but the word profane comes from the Latin word profanus, which literally means “outside the temple.” So, in a literal sense, Moses, as the author of Leviticus, is saying that the fire that Nadab and Abihu introduced to the altar had not been purified or consecrated. In reciprocation to that, God took their lives.
Children of God, it is important to note that at the very formation of the nation of Israel, God laid down the fundamental laws of consecration for the priests. He warned them that if they were not consecrated or if they violated their consecration, He would “break out” against them. Nadab and Abihu violated the holy law of the priesthood. When they did so, God killed them, reminding Israel of the sanctity of His presence. That is why Moses reminded Aaron, “This is what the LORD has said: ‘Among those who are near me I will be sanctified, and before all the people I will be glorified’” (vv. 3). When he heard this, Aaron “held his peace.” Even amid his grief, he knew his sons had committed a grave offense against Israel’s holy God.
Now when it comes to the application of this war strategy in modern-day terms that are easier to comprehend, this military tactic means to kill a potentially troublesome situation at the root before allowing it the chance to rapidly expand into an issue that is difficult to subdue, manage, control, and/or resolve. The essence of this military tactic is not cruel in the least, it is simply a very necessary safety precaution that can and must be applied in response to multiple challenging situations. On ministry-related terms, if you do not address and kill strange fires head-on (and in public, if need be, amidst a panel of witnesses/elders, or even in front of the entire congregation) then they will most definitely, without a shadow of a doubt, deaden your ministry. If you desire for your ministry (or for any serious organization of the matter) to truly go far, then you must kill strange fires immediately upon arousal. Of course, there will always be problems present, because of our flawed, Adamic (to be discussed in later posts) nature, and the ways of this fallen world. Whether people like to hear it or not, it’s just the gospel truth. Since there will always be problems on this side of eternity, I can definitely guarantee the presence of strange fires, as the Bible does say that “your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Pet. 5:8 KJV). However, this should not discourage you in the least. If you are always prepared to be able to kill them upon arousal at any moment, then their temporary presence until being extinguished will never bother you. Likewise, as you progress in leadership ability, killing them will rightfully so become a part of your second-nature, by the wonderful grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
“Divide and Conquer”
Also known as the “Divide and Rule” strategy, within the realms of politics and sociology, this military strategy is defined as gaining and maintaining power by breaking up larger concentrations of power into pieces that individually have less power than the one implementing the strategy. The use of this technique is meant to empower the sovereign to control subjects, populations, or factions of different interests, who collectively might be able to oppose his rule.
Elements of this technique involve:
– Creating or encouraging divisions among the subjects to prevent alliances that could challenge the sovereign
– Aiding and promoting those who are willing to cooperate with the sovereign
– Fostering distrust and enmity between local rulers
– Encouraging meaningless expenditures that reduce the capability for political and military spending
Historically, this strategy was used in many different ways by empires seeking to expand their territories. In regards to foreign policy, divide and rule can be used by states to weaken enemy military alliances. Likewise, in politics, the concept refers to a strategy that breaks up existing power structures, and especially prevents smaller power groups from linking up, causing rivalries and fomenting discord among the people to prevent a rebellion against the elites or the people implementing the strategy. The goal is either to pit the lower classes against themselves to prevent a revolution, or to provide a desired solution to the growing discord that strengthens the power of the elites.
Within the New Testament, Matt. 12:25 (KJV) reads, “And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, ‘Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand.’” Is it not funny that the Commander of Heaven’s Armies, Jesus Christ himself, is teaching us, his children, the very essence of this military tactic? If God himself is teaching this, then it becomes quite evidently obvious that it is expected of us to strive to be able to learn and adequately apply such tactics to our varying daily lifestyles.
“Confusion in the Enemy’s Camp”
This military tactic is a very common prayer point prevalently found and prayed across many deliverance churches around the world. It is an offensive tactic, to be applied in order to scatter congregations of evil cohorts that are against the move and will of God and his people.
In regards to the holy scriptures (real historical stories, to be discussed in later posts), by studying the book of Exodus chapter 14, we see how God threw the Egyptian army into confusion. He jammed the wheels of their chariots so they had difficulty driving. Nothing can operate well if the wheels are jammed, and if the brain is not functioning properly, then there will be confusion. The Egyptians realized that God was fighting for the children of Israel and decided to run away but alas, it was too late as they were swept into the sea.
In Judg. 7:22, when the people of God blew 300 trumpets, the Lord set the sword of one against another even throughout the whole [antagonist] army, and the army fled. The seventh chapter of Judges is a wonderful example of the wisdom of the Holy Spirit as He directs Gideon and his 300 fellow Israelites fighting against Midian.
“Back to Sender”
The book of Esther is a prime and perfect example of this military tactic. In Esth. 9:25 (KJV), the scripture reads “But when Esther came before the king, he commanded by letters that his wicked device, which he devised against the Jews, should return upon his own head, and that he and his sons should be hanged on the gallows.” This is an ideal scriptural demonstration of the back to sender principle, as Haman had originally designed to execute someone else on the gallows that he had constructed, yet he himself was hung on those very gallows.
The back to sender prayer is a fully scripturally backing prayer. They are warfare prayers organized by the children of God to return wicked arrow projectiles back to the very people that sent them. A back to sender prayer has the power to disgrace and destroy the enemies of your divine destiny in Jesus Christ. Brothers and sisters, you must keep in mind that the realm of the spirit is actually very violent, and the devil has designed attacks not just to oppress you, but to destroy your life. You MUST put on your Ephesians 6 armor and prepare for battle. In this way, through the power of Jesus Christ, you will gain victory. The Bible says, in Matt. 11:12 (KJV) “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” Therefore, Body of Christ, let us now suit up and “fight the good fight of faith” (1 Tim. 6:12).
“Unity of Command”
In military organization, unity of command is the principle that subordinate members of a structure should all be responsible to a single commander. During multinational operations and interagency coordination, unity of command may not be possible, but the requirement for unity of effort becomes paramount. Unity of effort—the coordination and cooperation toward common objectives, even if the participants are not necessarily part of the same command or organization—is the product of successful unified action.
This principle of war is usually applied when one is dealing with a military force of different services (for example, army and navy) and of different nationalities. The American army believes that unity of command means that “for every task there should be unity of effort under one responsible commander.” Other services contend that this “unity of effort” can be achieved by “cooperation” among commanders, and that there is no necessity to go so far as to put “one responsible commander” in overall charge.
Yet when the principle of unity of command is violated, problems quickly develop. It can, for instance cause operations to split between several unified commanders, causing significant operational problems.
According to Phil. 2:2 (KJV), we are called to be “likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, [and] of one mind.” Therefore, as God’s own children, we are all to be “unified” under the “command” of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
“Flexibility vs Discipline”
Balance is needed between the two. It is one thing to analyze tactics in the abstract but entirely another thing to put theory into practice under different circumstances, on different kinds of terrain, against different kinds of enemies, with the aid of troops who may be tired or confused or recalcitrant, and amid every kind of mortal danger.
Even then, tactics are not just a question of executing a plan, however clever and well conceived. In tactics, what matters is his ability to adapt the plan to that enemy’s reactions rapidly, smoothly, and without losing his grip. Flexibility is thus a cardinal principle of tactics. But flexibility will prevail only if it can be bound by a firm disciplinary framework. Moreover, flexibility and discipline are not easy to combine and can often be achieved only at each other’s expense. Other things being equal, the larger and more powerful a given force, the less flexible it will be. Therefore, for optimum survival results, a soldier for Christ must be both adaptable and structured.
As Heb. 12:11 reads, “Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.” Basically, this scripture is saying that what is involved in training may be painful, but due to discipline and adaptability to the perfect and authoritative will of God, the victory of obtaining the fruit of righteous living can be obtained.
“Ambush and Raid”
The oldest, most primitive field tactics are those that rely on concealment and surprise—i.e., the ambush and the raid. Such tactics, which are closely connected to those used in hunting and may indeed have originated in the latter, are well known to tribal societies all over the world. Typically the operation gets under way when warriors, having reconnoitered the terrain and stalked their enemy, take up concealed positions and wait for the signal. The engagement opens by means of such long-range missile weapons as the javelin, the bow, the sling, and the tomahawk. Once the enemy has been thrown into disorder and some of his personnel killed or wounded, cover is discarded, short-range weapons such as club, spear, and dagger are employed for delivering the “coup de grace.” Since concealment is vital and there is no sophisticated logistic apparatus, the number of combatants is usually no more than a few dozen or, at the very most, a few hundred. Tactical units are unknown and command arrangements, to the extent that they exist at all, elementary. None of this, however, is to say that such tactics are simpleminded. On the contrary, making the best use of difficult terrain such as mountains, forests, or swamps usually requires much skill and presupposes an intimate familiarity with the surroundings.
This military principle is important to be studied, since it is a principle that many agents of darkness (aka demons and witches– to be discussed in future posts) operate on. Yet it does not matter how many enemies are against a child of God. Wherever they gather against you, your loved ones, and your divine destiny, may they scatter in Jesus name.
“Coup de Grace”
A coup de grâce is a death blow to end the suffering of a severely wounded person or animal. It may be a mercy killing of mortally wounded civilians or soldiers, friends or enemies, with or without the sufferer’s consent.
In regards to the ministry-related area of deliverance, a deliverance minister may pray to “cut the head of the snake” or “sever a curse from the root.” These prayers are prime examples of this military tactic, since the kingdom of darkness must not be played with… it must be severed, terminated, and destroyed through the power of Jesus Christ.
“One to One”aka “One on One”
Apart from ambush and raid, which depends on making the best possible use of terrain, many primitive tribes also engage in formal, one-to-one frontal encounters that are part battle, part sport. The weapons employed on such occasions usually consist of the club (or its more advanced form, the mace), spear, and javelin, sometimes joined by the bow and special blunted arrows. Defensive armor consists of nonmetallic body cover of wood, leather, or wickerwork, often made in fantastic forms and painted extravagant colours in order to enlist the aid of spirits and terrify the opponent. Such fights differ from those described above in that the warriors stand in full view of each other across specially selected level terrain, the objective being to please the spectators and gather glory for themselves. However, here too there can be no question either of formations or of a command system. Rather, each man picks his opponent and fights separately. Hence, it is impossible to speak of tactics, except in the limited sense of the skill displayed by individual warriors in handling their weapons.
In the area of ministry, “one on one” usually refers to a type of deliverance where the deliverance minister is conducting a deliverance catered towards a specific person, family, or small group of people in general. This style of deliverance can take more time than other styles, since the deliverance minister puts more time, effort and detail into individualized cases.
“Phalanx” (aka small groups/tribes)
Phalanx tactics are known from ancient Sumer and Egypt as well as from Greece. Their essence consisted of packing troops together in dense, massive blocks, to some extent sacrificing flexibility, mobility, and the possibility of concealment in order to achieve mutual protection and maximize striking power. In Greek armies the usual number of ranks was 8, but formations 16 and even 50 deep are recorded. Insofar as they relied on brute force, such tactics were often considered primitive even in their own day—for example, by the Persian commander Mardonius in describing them to his master, Xerxes 1. For a phalanx to execute even a simple lateral evasive move, the troops had to be “professors of war”; such was the Roman historian Plutarch’s expression in describing the disaster suffered by Sparta at the Battle of Leuctra in 371 BC. As Sumerian reliefs, Egyptian wooden models, and Greek narratives show, the typical weapons employed by the phalanx were consistently short-range, hand-held instruments such as sword, spear, and pike, used in accordance to whether individual duels or mass action was considered more important. These weapons were invariably combined with defensive gear such as helmets, corselets, shields, and greaves, although here too the amount of protection varied from one case to the next.
Invented in the 3rd millennium BC, the first chariots seem to have been too slow and cumbersome to serve in combat, but about 2000 BC the light, horse-drawn, two-wheeled vehicles destined to revolutionize tactics appeared in the Western Steppe and Mesopotamia, Syria, and Turkey, from which they spread in all directions. In combination with the bow, the chariot represented a very effective system, so much so that in biblical times it became almost synonymous with military power. The great advantage of the chariot was its speed, which permitted it to drive circles around the phalanx, staying out of range while raining arrows on the foot soldiers. Once the latter had been thrown into disorder, it might be possible to put the chariots into formation, charge, and ride the enemy down. Relying on such tactics, the chariot-riding Aryan peoples were able to undertake some of the most extensive conquests in history, spreading over the Eurasian landmass and inflicting crushing defeats on the materially much more advanced Egyptian and Indian civilizations. The chariot’s principal drawbacks were its expense and unsuitability for difficult terrain. Also, it made inefficient use of manpower, since each vehicle required a crew of two and sometimes three men—only one of whom actually handled offensive weapons and struck at the enemy.
“Light and Heavy Cavalry/Horsemen”
The next development following chariots was cavalry, which took two forms. From Mongolia to Persia and Anatolia—and, later, on the North American plains as well—nomadic peoples fought principally with missile weapons, especially the bow in its short, composite variety. Equipped with only light armour, these horsemen were unable to hold terrain or to stand on the defensive. Hence, they were forced to employ their characteristic highly mobile “swarming” tactics, riding circles around the enemy, keeping their distance from him, showering him with arrows, engaging in feigned retreats, luring him into traps and ambushes, and forming into a solid mass only at the end of the battle with the aim of delivering the coup de grace. Being obliged to keep their possessions few and light, nomads typically were unable to compete with sedentary civilizations in general material development, including not least metallurgy.
“Light and Heavy Infantry/Foot Soldiers”
Among the technically more advanced sedentary civilizations on both edges of the Eurasian landmass, a different kind of cavalry seems to have emerged shortly after 1000 BC. Reliefs from great Assyrian palaces show horsemen, clad in armour and armed with spear or lance, who were used in combination with other troops such as light and heavy infantry. The function of these cataphracts (from the Greek word for “armour”) was not to engage in long-distance combat but to launch massed shock action, first against the enemy cataphracts and then, having gained the field, against the enemy foot. The fact that ancient cavalry apparently did not possess the stirrup has often led modern historians to question the mounted soldier’s effectiveness. They argue that, since riders held on only by pressure of their knees, their ability to deliver shock was limited by the fear of falling off their mounts. This argument fails to note that, particularly in Hellenistic times and again in late Roman ones, cavalry forces did indeed play an important, often decisive, part in countless battles. Still, it is true that never during classical antiquity did cavalry succeed in replacing the formations of heavy infantry that remained the backbone of every army.
A legion is defined as a unit of 3,000–6,000 men in the ancient Roman army. Though its exact origins are unknown, the Roman legion seems to have developed from the phalanx. In fact, it was a collection of small, well-integrated, well-coordinated phalanxes arrayed in checkerboard formation and operating as a team. Hellenistic heavy infantry relied on the pike almost exclusively; the legion, by contrast, possessed both shock and firepower—the former in the form of the short sword, or gladius, the latter delivered by the javelin, or pilum, of which most (after 100 BC, all) legionnaires carried two. Screening was provided by light troops moving in front, cohesion by pikemen in the third and rearmost rank. Short arms made it easier for individual soldiers or subunits to turn and change direction. Too, careful articulation, a well-rehearsed command system, and the use of standards—which do not seem to have been carried by Hellenistic armies—made the legion a much more flexible organization than the phalanx. No Greek army could have imitated the movement carried out by Caesar’s troops at Ruspinum in Africa in 47 BC, when part of a legion was made to turn around and face an enemy cavalry force coming from the rear. As numerous battles showed, where the terrain was uneven and the chain of command broke down, the legion’s advantage was even more pronounced. A phalanx whose ranks were thrown into disorder and penetrated by the enemy’s infantrymen was usually lost; a legionary commander could rely on his soldiers’ swords to deal with intruders, meanwhile bringing up additional units from both flanks.
It is important to understand the military term “legion,” because one way that God’s holy angels, as well as demons (the devil, and his other fallen, wicked cohorts). In the book of Luke (ch. 8), Jesus encountered a man at the cemetery who was plagued with legions of demons that caused him insanity. Yet even though the demons that were caging that man’s life were many, the Lord still set him free. Therefore, my brothers and sisters of the Most High God, it does not matter how many seem to be in opposition to you. For the word of God says that if God is for you, who can be against you? (Rom. 8:31)
For this week, all that you have to do is study and memorize these tactics, as you will be tested soon, young students of the faith. So brace for impact! Your testing will not be hard, however, please do take this studying material seriously as these tactics are very important within the operational functioning of the Kingdom of the Most High God. So study well, my students. Who knows when your first test will be? After all, life in the military is always… (drum roll please… To Be Continued…)

HEAT BETWEEN TRUMP AND MILITARY LEADERS
On Monday, President Donald Trump launched an unprecedented public attack against US military leadership, accusing them of waging wars to boost the profits of defense manufacturing companies. “I’m not saying the military’s in love with me — the soldiers are, the top people in the Pentagon probably aren’t because they want to do nothing but fight wars so that all of those wonderful companies that make the bombs and make the planes and make everything else stay happy,” Trump told reporters at a White House news conference. Clearly, it can be observed that Trump’s relations with leaders of the Pentagon are intensifying and becoming increasingly strained.
This attack came right after Trump was accused of convincing the Public last week that he had not made a series of reported disparaging remarks about US military personnel and veterans, which were primarily reported by The Atlantic magazine. The magazine read that at the Aisne-Marne cemetery during a November 2018 trip to France to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I, Trump said the cemetery was “filled with losers.” Other outlets, including Fox News, have confirmed much of The Atlantic’s reporting, which Trump and the White House vehemently deny. In response to all of this, Joe Biden has publicly declared Trump to be “downright un-American”.
Now people of God, I must make the very important statement that as soldiers for Christ, even if you particularly are a veteran, the gospel truth is that whether or not people of your country decide to honor you, God will honor you for your service in his Kingdom. Remember that we are in the world but not of it, so do not expect to receive more honor than what u are given. Proverbs 25:6-7 (NIV) reads, “Do not exalt yourself in the king’s presence, and do not claim a place among his great men; it is better for him to say to you, ‘Come up here,’ than for him to humiliate you in front of his nobles.” Essentially, this scripture is instructing the reader not to seek and demand honor out of your own efforts, but to let honor seek and find you instead. This is how God wants you and I to live… a life where blessings follow us wherever we go.
Continue to remain blessed, my brothers and sisters. Comment below your thoughts on this topic. Let’s have some discussions!

THE SUPER TRAGEDY OF THE BELOVED SUPERHERO, CHADWICK BOSEMAN
Chadwick Boseman, known for his role as King T’Challa in Marvel’s blockbuster film “Black Panther,” died last week after a four-year battle with cancer, according to a post on his twitter account. The post said that the actor, who also played Black icons such as Thurgood Marshall, James Brown and Jackie Robinson, died at home with his wife and family. Boseman was diagnosed with stage three colon cancer in 2016, which in reference to the post, progressed to stage four. He was 43 years old, according to The Associated Press. The post added that it was “the honor of his career” to play King T’Challa in Black Panther. Boseman was private about his diagnosis, choosing to withhold the news of his diagnosis from his fans. His death came on the day Major League Baseball was celebrating Jackie Robinson Day, usually celebrated on April 15. His role in the film was one that allowed multitudes of children of like complexion to see themselves represented on the big screen in a super-heroic way.
More than 15,000 people have signed a petition for a statue of Chadwick Boseman to replace a Confederate monument in the late actor’s hometown of Anderson, South Carolina. The petition, which centers on the Confederate monument that stands in front of the Anderson courthouse, was launched by an anonymous Anderson resident and is addressed to Anderson Mayor Terence Roberts, the South Carolina state Senate, the South Carolina House and South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster. Officials would need to sign off on the original statue’s removal.
My Message for You
Brothers and sisters, I know that this is alarming and quite saddening news for many of us, especially as we have already witnessed so much happen in the world around us this year. With the death of Kobe Bryant, the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, continued police brutality cases and reports, and the upcoming US election, a lot has and is being processed in our minds right now. Yet worry not, children of the Most High God, for I must remind you that indeed, we are in the world, not of it (Jn. 17:16). The Bible also says that we are a peculiar people, a chosen generation (1 Pet. 2:9). Therefore we do not mourn as people of the world do. As 1 Thess. 4:13 (NIV) reads, “Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope.” This is because we know where our help comes from (Ps. 121:1), and we know our God!
No matter what storms rage around us, just like Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, slept through the storm (Matt. 8:24), we too are able to sleep through any and every storm that comes our way, and we will not be shaken (Ps. 62:2). Again, as you know, these are most definitely the end times, yet the Bible also says that “the glory of the latter house shall be greater than of the former” (Hag. 2:9 KJV). Likewise, the ceiling of the generations before us shall be the floor of ours. No matter what, never let anyone’s passing in this life hinder you from being able to move forward. Indeed, there is hope, and our hope is in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who is the same yesterday, today and forever (Heb. 13:8) and who is incomparably the most supreme super hero of all!
Please feel free to comment below your thoughts on the passing of Chadwick Boseman. I’d love to hear your views and input! It’s time to engage in community discussion. As much feedback and interaction as possible is highly encouraged.
Pray for the Body of Christ worldwide, not just for your culture, ethnicity or skin tone. Do not allow any type of news to affect you so greatly that you stay down. Jesus has already overcome this world (Jn. 16:33) and we are more than conquerors through Christ (Rom. 8:37)!
Watch the news regularly, just refuse to fear. Spark frequent discussions among your friends and family members on current events.
Instead of getting discouraged, begin to make moves with your life. This news is a bit painful, yes, however God has designed us to always move forward from glory to glory and grace to grace. You can either become depressed, or inspired. It’s your choice! Choose to be inspired.
